Weaving the First Section
String on the desired number of beads. Run under the warp threads. Push the beads up into their parking spaces.
Run your needle through all the beads, over the warp threads.
Pull your thread through the beads.
Push the beads up... lined up with the last row.
Work enough rows to fill your workspace.
Clearing the Workspace
To clear your workspace for the next section, cut the anchor thread.
Pinch the warp threads just below the beads and push up and over the edge.
Work your way across the row, pushing the up.
Line the rows up along the edge of the work space.
Repeat filling the work space and clearing it until you run out of room. There should be a gap between the first and last rows.
Ending a Repetitive Pattern
When you are almost to the end, you will want to check for space. Measure the amount of space.
Push your last rows back over the work space.
Measure how much of pattern will fit in the space left to work.
Work the pattern the desired number of rows.
You can add in a new feature or fill with a solid color to compete loom work. tie off your thread.
Removing Your Work from the Loom
Slide work off the loom. Squeeze the loom (gently... it is plastic!). Slide your work off the loom.
Lay the loom work in the palm of your hand. Cover it with your other hand. Rub your hands together (like you were warming them up in winter)
This will adjust all the warp threads so there is no more gap. TA DA!
(You didn't quite believe me did you?!)
If you didn't leave a gap your work will look like corduroy, having ridges where the rows are fighting for their own space.
Sewing Your Bag Closed
Line the rows up, at the bottom of the bag where the thread is coming out. Run your needle under the edge warp threads, between the rows.
Pull your thread through until you have a loop. Run your needle through the loop and pull the loop closed
Repeat the process across the bottom of the bag.
When you reach the opposite side, run your needle through a row of the beads.
Run it all the way through to the top of the bag
Edging the Top of a Bag

.
Pull the thread tight. Run your needle up through 2 of the 6 beads just added.

Run your needle through the 2 beads running across the top.
Run down though the next 2 beads and into the body of the bag.
